Amelia Jeffers, President and Auctioneer
Amelia Jeffers, and her husband, Jeff, joined Garth’s Auctions in 1996 from a diverse background of business ownership and development. Under their leadership, Garth’s has expanded services and market share to become known as Garth’s Auctioneers & Appraisers, an internationally respected and renowned firm. The Jeffers are committed to the legacy of Garth’s created by the founder, Garth Oberlander, operating under the same basic principles that have guided the firm throughout a 60+ year history: honesty, integrity, customer service and a passion for art, antiques and the relationships created by bringing those items to market.
As President and Auctioneer (as well as Principal Realtor for Garth’s Real Estate Services Corp.), Amelia wears many hats at Garth’s, primarily focusing on marketing and public relations strategy, emerging markets, sales production, staff leadership and development, and key accounts management.
Amelia is an active member of the community, serving on the Boards of The Delaware Arts Festival, Andrews House, and the Parents’ Association of Columbus Academy. Additionally, Amelia lends her resources and energies to The American Heart Association Go Red for Women Campaign, Delaware County Community Foundation, Ohio Historical Society, Columbus Museum of Art, Ohio Art League and many other charitable efforts that are near and dear to the Jeffers family.
Jeff and Amelia are raising their four children in New Albany, Ohio. |
