Richard “Jeff” Jeffers, C.E.O. and Principal Auctioneer
Jeff Jeffers and his wife Amelia own Garth’s Auctions
of Delaware, Ohio, the state’s oldest premier auction house with annual revenue approaching $10 million dollars per year. A licensed auctioneer in the state
of Ohio, Jeff attended the Missouri Auction School
in 1997 and became a member of the Certified
Appraisers Guild of America in 1999. He is a
graduate of The Ohio State University.
Well into his second decade in the business, Jeff’s
reputation as a great auctioneer and good eye has earned him the respect of buyers and sellers
nationwide. Among many charitable endeavors that benefit schools, museums and other worthy causes,
Jeff serves as the chief auctioneer for the annual
fund-raising auction for St. Croix’s Whim Plantation Museum. A hands-on manager with a keen memory and zest for research, Jeff oversees every lot that sells through Garth’s, processing 30,000 objects a year. |

Amelia Jeffers, President and Auctioneer
With experience ranging from professional consigning to business marketing to real estate sales, Amelia dons many hats at Garth’s. She attended the Mid-Ohio School of Auctioneering and West Virginia University. During her 14 years at the auction house, Amelia has skillfully managed every aspect of the business, particularly those relative to design and marketing. It is Amelia’s creativity and enthusiasm, for instance, that generated Garth’s highly respected full-color catalogs that set the auction house apart.
In 2008, Amelia added one more title by becoming the lead Realtor and auctioneer for the Garth's Auctions team at Keller Williams Capital Partners Realty. |
